Sleeping with Lilith is a Finnish rock band formed spring 2006 in the city called Kuopio.

The story of Sleeping with Lilith starts in the spring of 2006. Bassist Olle and drummer Sebastian had played together in a band called Blow earlier and after it broke up they started to play together and keep on rocking. There was no doubt in anyone’s mind that the guys wouldn’t come up with something new and keep kicking ass together.

After a while the guys met a wild and crazy chick through mutual friends, and they instantly knew that Ansu would be the perfect pick for the vacant vocalist position. They still needed a lead guitarist, so they started a long and gruesome audition process. A wide range of guitarists applied (think along the lines of Nirvana through Children Of Bodom), but no one really stood up from the mass. The guys decided that it was time for a different kind of approach, and finally one of their infamous adventures in the local rock bar paid off big time and Olli took his place in the band.

After a year and a half together and after playing a few shows the band has found its place and the band members are feeling really good about what they are doing. Sleeping with Lilith is about to go to the studio to record three songs, which will be available online by the end of this year.
